This agreement is to protect both the Buyer(s) ___________________________and the Seller: Diane Strickland
Yorkies by Diane certifies that, to the best of our knowledge, our dogs are sold in good health, free of genetic defects, and any/all known faults, (if applicable) have been declared to the buyers. We do not guarantee the size, weight, color or fertility of our puppies. We strive to raise our puppies to the AKC standards.
Vaccinations & Worming:
All vaccinations are current; de-worming has been done every 2 weeks from 4 weeks of age thru this date. All remaining vaccinations and worming are the responsibility of the buyer.
This agreement constitutes a 72-hour guarantee on the health of the puppy. Every reasonable care has been taken to insure the health of this animal. The buyer has the option, within 72 hours of receipt, to have this animal examined by a licensed Veterinarian of their choice, at the buyer’s expense. (Excluding Sat, Sun, and Holidays) If a congenital disease is detected, the sellers will provide a replacement, provided the animal is returned, with a veterinarian’s report of such disease within a 72-hour period. We also offer a 365 day guarantee that if the puppy should die of an unknown (at time of sale) congenital birth defect, the dog will be replaced but only if an appropriate autopsy (at buyers expense) is performed by a licensed Veterinarian and a veterinarians certificate is provided as proof of cause of death. The replacement will come from the next available litter matching the requirement of the first puppy.
This guarantee will not cover any health problems that are not detected by a licensed Veterinarian. Common problems such as diarrhea, coccidiosis, wormy stool, ear mites, external parasites and other minor problems are not covered under this guarantee and are the sole responsibility of the buyer. However preventive measures have been administered and all of these conditions (if present) have been treated for prior to the sale of our pups. The buyer assumes full responsibility for proper care once the puppy leaves the breeder.
The buyer also assumes the responsibility of understanding the signs and treatment of hypoglycemia, a commom problem with small breed puppies.
We recommend that the new owner have the puppy examined by a licensed Veterinarian with 72 hours of purchase for your own satisfaction and protection.
If you have never owned a Yorkie or small breed puppy, it is recommended that you purchase a book on Yorkies and familiarize yourself with their unique needs.
